I installed in the back of my 4wd connected to my inverter, so far it is working well, reliably and as it should. Time will tell the story as to how long it lasts and performs down the track.
I'm sure the powered pop-up version is more fancy however I couldn't justify the dramatic increase in price. For the price, this seems so far as a great option.
